“Our default now”
We tried four of the coffees and keep coming back to this one. Chocolatey in a flat white, and my partner drinks it black.
“Actually tastes of blueberries”
I thought the tasting notes were marketing. They are not. Brewed in a V60 it is like blueberry tea with jasmine.
“Blackcurrant juice”
Bright, juicy and clean. Best Kenyan I have had at home. Glad I got two bags before the lot runs out.
“Finally, a decaf I like”
I cut caffeine after lunch and this is the first decaf that does not taste like cardboard.
“Bold without the burn”
I like a dark roast and most are just bitter. This is dark chocolate and molasses. Great in a big latte.
“Good every way”
Pour-over, AeroPress, even the old drip machine at work. Sweet and caramel-y every time.
Roast days
We roast twice a week in small batches, so the bag you get was roasted for you, not for a shelf.
How we buy
We are a small roastery, so we keep the list short and go back to the same growers each harvest.
