Questions
Plumbing, answered.
Anything else, ask the pro in your request.
Is this for emergencies?
Handwell is for jobs that can wait a few hours. For a burst pipe, turn off the stopcock first, then send a request marked within a week and call the pro who replies.
Do plumbers work on boilers?
Not through Handwell. Boiler work needs a registered gas engineer, and they are not on the platform yet.
How is the price set?
Most small jobs have a fixed price. Larger ones are by the hour, quoted after the plumber sees your photos.
