Describe the job
Choose the service and answer a few questions that fit it: rooms and bathrooms for a clean, a list for a handyman, from and to for a move. Add photos if they help. It takes about two minutes.
Your photos stay on your device until a pro needs them.

We match it to three pros
Your request goes to the three best-matched pros who offer the service and cover your district, ranked by rating, reviews and how quickly they reply. Or send it to one pro you chose from their profile.
Every one of them has passed ID, insurance and reference checks.

Quotes come back to you
Each pro views the job and sends a fixed price, their earliest date and a short note. Compare them side by side on your request page, with their ratings and checks next to the price.
Most requests have their first quote within a few hours.

Book, and the payment is held
Accept the quote you want. The job is confirmed to both of you, the other pros are thanked, and your payment is held by Handwell rather than paid to the pro.
Move or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before.

Sort out the details
Message your pro in the job thread about parking, keys or the colour you have in mind. Your phone number and street are shared with the pro you book, and only them.
Everything stays in one place, with the quote.

Release the payment, leave a review
When the work is done and as agreed, mark it done. The pro is paid, and you can leave a review that tells the next household how it went.
Reviews can only come from jobs booked and paid through Handwell.

On the other side of every quote is a local pro.
They choose the jobs they quote for, set their own prices and are paid as soon as the job is marked done.

Why it works this way.
Do I have to accept a quote?
No. Asking costs nothing and there is no obligation. Unaccepted quotes simply expire after seven days.
Why quotes and not instant booking?
Home jobs vary. A price given after the pro has seen the details and photos is fairer to both sides, and it rarely changes on the day.
Why three pros?
Enough to compare price, date and reviews, few enough that pros take the time to answer properly.
What if the price changes on the day?
The pro has to tell you why and get your agreement in the job thread before doing more. Nothing extra is taken without your OK.
