What 15-minute monitoring data tells you about your site
A solar system reports on itself every quarter of an hour. Read well, that data finds faults early and shows how your site really uses power.

Every Lumora system sends data to our operations centre in Rotterdam every 15 minutes: the output of each string, the status of each inverter, sunlight on the array and the flow through your main meter. That is about 35,000 readings a year for a single string, and most of them say everything is fine. The value is in the few that do not.
Spotting faults early
We compare every string with its neighbours and with the sunlight sensor. When one string makes 8 per cent less than the strings beside it, something has changed: a loose connector, a failed bypass diode, a bird's nest or a new obstruction. An alert reaches our engineers straight away.
Without monitoring, a fault like that shows up months later as a slightly lower bill saving, if anyone notices at all.
Seeing your load clearly
The main meter data shows when your site uses power, not just how much. Clients often find equipment running at night that nobody knew about, or a morning start-up peak that a different sequence would remove. These findings are free savings, and they often matter more than the solar.
What a monthly report contains
- Yield against the model in your proposal, with the weather for the month.
- Share of solar used on site, exported and stored.
- Any alerts, what caused them and what was done.
- Your site's load profile, with anything unusual marked.
