Where it comes from
Cooperativa Sol del Norte
A co-operative of 310 smallholders who farm under native shade trees near the Ecuador border.
Sol del Norte members farm small plots under tall shade trees, which keeps the soil cool and the cherry ripening slowly.
The co-operative uses part of every sale for its own nursery, so new trees go in each year.

“Gentle and nutty”
Exactly what I wanted: not fruity, not bitter, just a nice cup.
