Where it comes from
Ruzizi Hills washing station
A small station on the shore of Lake Kivu, serving about 1,200 growers on the hills above it.
Ruzizi Hills sorts every cherry by hand before it is pulped, then the parchment is dried slowly under shade nets by the lake.
It is a quiet, elegant coffee. Brew it a little longer than you think and it opens up into black tea and flowers.

“Like a good black tea”
Delicate and floral. I brew it a little longer like the guide says and it opens right up.
